    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Compensation design and administration.
    • Design of Performance & Recognition processes.
    • Market pricing including Market survey and data analysis.
    • Providing advice to HR, line managers and senior management on compensation-related issues.
    • Managing experienced compensation professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.
    • Executive rewards design and administration.
    • Change management and communication related to ongoing or new compensation practices.
    • Policy and strategy development and implementation.
    • Resolving difficult to moderately complex problems / issues.
    • Influencing others outside of own job area regarding compensation policies, practices and procedures.
    • This position typically reports to the Sr. Director Total Rewards and is responsible for the planning, budgeting, and scheduling as well as the management and coordination of all operational aspects for an organization to ensure business and financial objectives are attained. Translates business priorities into implementable actions to achieve strategic goals. Identifies and assesses operational issues and consults with management to negotiate and develop solutions which meet planning schedules, quality objectives, and policies and procedures of the organization. Determines customer requirements and translates these requirements into organizational plans. Typically accomplishes objectives through individual contribution and subordinate professionals. May be responsible for decisions that have an extended impact on outcomes where erroneous decisions could result in critical delays and modifications to projects.

     

    ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

    • Manages the development and coordination of operational plans, budgets, and schedules as well as directs the coordination of all operational aspects for an organization.
    • Leads efforts to develop and improve operations through efficient and effective integrated processes, implementing common management processes/services to use organizational resources efficiently and effectively.
    • Serves as liaison between program/project management, project teams and administrative service departments on matters of high importance.
    • Manages development and coordination of operating procedures that are aligned with the strategic business and administrative objectives of the organization.
    • Conducts operational reviews of cost and service structures, productivity measures and delivery methods to achieve planned targets.
    • Manages the development of mechanisms for monitoring progress and for problem solving with program managers, project teams, and administrative services departments while developing solutions to meet budget, schedule, quality objectives, and company policies and procedures.
    • Directs the recruitment, retention, and development of human resources to ensure the availability of the required management and professional talent needed to meet business objectives and organizational requirements.
    • Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
    • Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
    • Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
    • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

    Job Qualifications :

    • Typically requires a Bachelors or Masters in business administration, finance, or a related field, along with eleven or more years of progressive human resources experience with at least 5 years focused in the compensation function and supervising employees.  May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
    • Must have extensive and detailed technical expertise and application of relevant human resources and compensation principles, theories and concepts.  Experience working both in a HR COE and as an HR business partner are also desirable.
    • US citizenship is required.
    • Must be able to provide leadership to staff and colleagues while representing the organization internally and externally as a spokesperson on compensation matters.
    • Must be customer focused and possess: the ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data, and develop  innovative solutions to a variety of unusually complex problems using a high degree of independent judgment;  excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings to a variety of audiences including executive and senior management, senior external parties and government agencies; excellent interpersonal skills to influence and guide all levels of employees, including senior managers and senior external parties and HR peers;  the ability to effectively and efficiently initiate, plan, budget and manage projects;
    • Must demonstrate detailed and extensive expertise in project planning and scheduling, as well as monitoring and reporting on these activities.
    • Knowledge of computer applications and operations pertinent to the field.
    •  Must be able to work on a self- initiated basis and lead in a team environment and able to work extended hours and travel as required. Advanced change management and strategic thinking skill sets are highly desirable.
