Position open for full-time Biological Production Techs. Must be able to comprehend and accurately follow manufacturing procedures written in English. This position will be working with raw materials (either live animals or animal byproducts).

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work with animal fluids (blood).
• Ability to follow instructions for production processes and documentation procedures.
• Ability to use a syringe.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and/or tasks.
• Ability to tolerate rabbit fur and odors.
• Ability to work with chemicals (bleach, acid)
• Ability to stay in one place for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to maintain upkeep and cleanliness of work area (cleaning animal cages and lab area).
• Ability to wear mandatory PPE and follow correct safety procedures in a processing plant and lab setting.
• Other duties as assigned (helping in other areas, company wide miscellaneous tasks)

*Two years formal education in biology, chemistry or related science preferred but not required. Will train candidates that have background in food processing or manufacturing.

Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
