PENCIL ONE is seeking a multi talented professional to join our production team! We are an exciting and rapidly expanding commercial photography company located on the South Shore of Massachusetts that offers full-service photography solutions to many different types of businesses. Our expertise spans all categories of commercial photography. Some of our noticeable clients have included Marylous Coffee, Lovepop, Stoney Clover Lane, Foster and Grant, 88 Acres, MapleWater, Matouk, Big Ass Fans, PopSocket, Levitate and more! Responsibilities: Shoot product photos within tight deadlines. Self-manage workflow to ensure the highest quality of images Retouch/edit images to meet high levels of client expectations regarding quality and consistency Studio Maintenance including cataloguing, organization and up keep of all studio equipment, space, props and scenes Daily communication with international retouching companies Problem solve on a daily basis to come up with solutions to issues involving photography, retouch, studio management, prop/scene creation, efficiency standards, organizational systems Set up and style scenes based on previous images or new client requirements Collaborate with other experienced professionals (stylists, HMUA, models, clients, etc) Requirements: 1-2+ Years of professional digital photography experience MINIMUM Excellent communication skills and comprehension of the English language Reliable form of transportation Ability to lift 50 lbs. Minimum as the moving of walls, furniture, and other heavy objects is a regular occurrence Advanced organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy Proficient experience with camera systems and workflow applications such as Bridge, Photoshop, Strobe Lighting Strong knowledge of studio lighting (Must be able to describe equipment used and show examples of studio photography in portfolio) Strong knowledge of color correction Willingness to put in extra efforts even when that requires work outside the daily hours of operation Willingness to collaborate and work as a part of a team Willingness to take on additional jobs and work that may not be a part of the "job description" such as creation of internal documents, copywriting/proofreading of internal documents, prop/scene creation, etc. Must provide a professional photography portfolio that demonstrates a working knowledge of digital photography, including lighting, composition, color quality, and aesthetics, relating to product photography.
