We are seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician to meet the needs of our client population.

This position is responsible for providing treatment that promotes client dignity, independence, individuality, strengths, privacy and choice while respecting cultural differences and demonstrating ethical behaviors.

The Behavioral Health Technician assists clients with illness understanding and self-management, while providing any necessary monitoring and follow up to determine if the services accessed have adequately met the individual's needs.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and understanding of issues
• Thorough understanding of group dynamics and group process
• Excellent therapeutic and personal boundaries and ethics
• Ability to perform crisis intervention
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be available to work any assigned shift

Education and Experience:

Appropriate certifications and licensure are required. Two (2) - Five (5) years' experience in the fields of Social Work, Child Development, or Criminal Justice, or a combination of education and experience as follows:

• Masters degree or Bachelors degree with 2 years of experience
• Associates Degree with 4 years of experience
