    The Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) works in the In-School Behavioral Coaching program. The In-School Behavioral Coaching program is designed to meet the needs of our In-School child population with behavioral issues possible co-occurring disorders. RBT's provide much needed assistance to teachers by working with clients within the classroom setting. RBT's remove disruptive students from the classroom and work one-on-one with the student to modify behavior and helps redirect them back to the classroom with improved self-management skills. These highly-trained professionals provide a service to teachers and students alike.

    This position is responsible to provide treatment for elementary and middle school children that promotes client dignity, independence, individuality, strengths, privacy and choice while respecting cultural differences and demonstrating ethical behaviors. The RBT's assists Children with understanding and self-management, while providing any necessary monitoring and follow up to determine if the services accessed have adequately met the individual’s needs.

    Must be able to start July 17, 2023

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Health or related field or five year’s experience working in Behavioral Health.
    • Registered Behavioral Health Technician Credential
    • Knowledge and understanding of Behavioral Health issues
    • Thorough understanding of de-escalation techniques
    • Excellent therapeutic and personal boundaries and ethics
    • Ability to perform crisis intervention
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Complete all necessary paperwork (monthly reports, progress notes, timesheets, orientation paperwork and intake paperwork.
    • Participate in clinical oversight provided by PHCC licensed supervisory
    • Participate in bi-monthly trainings at PHCC main office
    • Current CPR/First Aid card -Must be renewed upon expiration
    • Valid State of Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card
    • A Negative Tuberculosis Test – Must be renewed every twelve months.
    • Proof of Initial Covid-19 Vaccinations
    • A dependable vehicle and valid vehicle insurance
