JOB TITLE: Tortilla Cook                          

REPORTS TO:  Assistant Kitchen Manager/Kitchen Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non - Exempt  

JOB SCOPE:

• This position requires someone to prepare Corn & Flour Tortillas according to the recipe and cook them to perfection 
• This person will spend most of the day on his/her feet in a hot environment cooking over a hot grill 
• The person responsible for this position will also be able to make Mexican Desserts and Plate Up according to Company Specification

• Two years of experience in a high-volume restaurant cooking & baking according to volume
• Ability to follow recipes and extend recipes based on production needs
• Ability to work the Tortilla (Besco) Machine
• Ability to stand on your feet for several hours at a time without a break
