    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform high-quality PET and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures using professional judgment to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes.
    • Assess patient condition and adapt procedures as needed, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
    • Administer radioactive materials and contrast agents while monitoring patient reactions.
    • Maintain accurate documentation in PACS/RIS, ensuring proper patient identification and verification.
    • Perform quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and safety of imaging equipment.
    • Stay up to date with the latest technology and regulatory requirements in the field.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
    • Licensure/Certification: * Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) licensure. * ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine (NM) or NMTCB certification. * BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
    • Skills & Knowledge: * Expertise in Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging procedures. * Familiarity with CT technology and imaging protocols. * Ability to work in an environment with exposure to radiation and infectious diseases.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Education from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
    • Experience with Computerized Tomography (CT) imaging.

    Physical & Work Requirements:

    • Ability to lift and assist patients safely.
    • Standing and walking for extended periods.
    • Handling equipment up to 50 lbs and assisting with patient transfers up to 300 lbs.
    • Focus and attention to detail when monitoring imaging equipment.
