PETTIGREW has several immediate openings for Part-time Temporary Medical Billing Agents. This is an in-office, position in Watkinsville, GA. This position is temporary; this project might be a few months or possibly grow into a longer project. We are looking for employees that are dependable, honest, have integrity, and a can-do professional attitude. This job requires accuracy and efficiency as there are benchmarks that need to be met. The hours can be flexible between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, we are just requiring 15 to 25 hours worked per week.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

W-9 mailings

Data entry of insurance in our billing software

Cleanup patient demographics

Researching member IDs and denied claims

Assisting with payment posting

Please note that since this is a part-time position, you are not eligible for benefits (such as holiday pay, PTO, and insurance).

Position Requirements:

Type 40+ wpm

Consistently work 15 - 25 hours per week during our office hours

Strong communication and problem-solving skills required

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Able to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high accuracy standards

Follow confidentiality policy and HIPAA compliance

Perform other duties as requested by Team Lead, Manager, and Management Team
