Growing, multidisciplinary outpatient neuropsychology treatment facility located in Clarkton, Michigan is currently looking to hire a Limited License Psychologist, Licensed Practical Counselor, or Fully Licensed Psychologist to join the practice. It is the intention of the practice to continue to provide quantity of services to keep pace with the local demand for mental health and neuropsychological treatment. The position is for a full-time clinician; the practice will assist with establishing and maintaining a full-time case load. The LLP, FLP, or LPC will be expected to work with individuals diagnosed with a variety of mental health issues on an outpatient basis. If the clinician is not currently paneled with insurance companies, the practice will assist with paneling or may bill under a Licensed Psychologist on staff providing supervision. Position requires someone who is willing to see patients in therapy sessions but also willing to administer, score, and complete various neuropsychological assessments (will provide specific training if needed). The practice has a heavy emphasis on neurocognitive disorders, and works with a variety of other populations.

Requirements:
Must prove completion of Master’s or PhD in Psychology or Counseling from an accredited college or university
Must prove licensure within the State of Michigan as either a Limited License Psychologist (LLP), Fully Licensed Psychologist (FLP), or Licensed Practical Counselor (LPC)
Must be able to work independently and in conjunction with an internal team of neuropsychologists/psychologists and external treatment providers
Skills:
Strong writing and communication skills (written reports and oral communications with other staff members and external providers as needed)
Effective organizational skills and quick completion of medical records and reports
Ability to administer and score (or willingness to learn) various neuropsychological assessments and provide scores within a timely manner
Experience:
Working with individuals diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injury or other neurocognitive/psychological disorders is preferred. Experience working in outpatient care or hospital settings preferred
Must have at least two years’ experience effectively evaluating, diagnosing, and treating children, adolescents, and/or adults diagnosed with a variety of mood, personality, and cognitive disorders, preference will be given to a individual wanting to work with children and adolescents
Must be competent to diagnose using the ICD-10
