    Job Summary: Coordinates all Information Technology programs, projects, and MSP (Managed Service Provider) relationships, and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately. Compiles program and project status reports, coordinates project schedules, and identifies and resolves technical problems. Identifies and analyzes Company systems requirements and defines IT projects and programs Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Oversees the development and maintenance of all operation systems (laptops, club computer and register systems, networking systems, etc.).

    Essential Job Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:

    Responsible for overseeing all stages and types of Information Technology programs and projects from proposal hand-off and requirements definition, to project planning and implementation.

    Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.

    Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing and maintaining Company information technologies.

    Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.

    Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments, MSP, and involved vendors.

    Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.

    Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Provides a proactive interface between service providers, company leadership, and company personnel to ensure effective definition, delivery, and implementation of technical business solutions.

    Works with service providers to ensure stable and reliable systems and network infrastructure, including internet service.

    Demonstrates strong initiative and independent judgment in problem reporting, problem resolution, and managing ongoing program and project support escalations within PF Michigan Group's established procedures and recommends and helps to move/add/change procedures when necessary.

    Monitors and reports on the results of completed projects to senior leadership.

    Develops, communicates, and negotiates a clear project scope and schedule, adhering to company expectations and requirements.

    Works with the MSP (Managed Service Provider) and Operations team to resolve IT/IS issues and implement pro-active measures and resolutions.

    Leads internal and provider implementation meetings to set proper provider and company expectations.

    Ensures a stable and secure IT infrastructure for the company business applications to increase system availability, reliability, scalability, and cost effectiveness through the management of internal resources and outsourced service providers.

    Designs, plans, implements and operates a highly stable IT environment through scalable, secure, and proven processes and technology implementations.

    Assists with the oversight of IT Managed Service Providers and other vendors. Identifies root causes and works with service providers and company personnel to remedy and prevent information technology and systems issues.

    Responsible for establishing and insuring adherence to all IT and IS management processes, device security policies, and continuous monitoring of company systems, network(s), internet use, intranet use, and software to ensure that all security measures (i.e. firewall) are secure and utilized properly to ensure protection of company files, records, member information, etc.

    Knowledge of project management tools, software, and methodologies.

    Qualifications, Education, Experience and Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field, or a combination of education and experience required.

    Minimum 2 years in a program/project support role preferred.

    Solid business acumen, an understanding of system designs, and project management skills are essential.

    Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook experience required. Microsoft Project experience preferred.

    PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or PPM (Professional in Project Management) certification preferred.

    Microsoft Project software experience preferred.

    Work flexibility (travel requirements, work schedule, etc.):

    Travel between locations in the metro Detroit, MI, Toledo, OH, and Grand Rapids, MI areas.

    Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings and/or weekends as business needs and implementation schedules necessitate.
