SEC FINANCIAL REPORTING MANAGER (SFRM)

We are currently recruiting for an SEC Financial Reporting Manager to oversee the Financial Reporting team. This team is responsible for PFS’s corporate financial reporting, including board of directors’ reports and SEC reporting. The team is also responsible for ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, manage and review the Company’s external SEC filings, including, but not limited to, Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K and the annual proxy statement.
• Perform technical research to ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements and US GAAP and summarize findings as needed.
• Assistance in preparation and review of quarterly shareholder conference call scripts and financial earnings press releases.
• Accountable for identifying and communicating risks and issues impacting financial area of responsibility.
• Equity accounting
• Assist in the facilitation and management of the annual audit and quarterly financial reviews.
• Responsible for driving department goals and vision within the team.
• Assist in annual testing of SOX controls
• Supervise a senior accountant

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with 7+ years of experience of relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience leading/managing a financial team
• Big 4 Accounting experience strongly preferred
• CPA Preferred
• Experience preparing, managing and reviewing SEC filings
• Thorough knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and US GAAP accounting
• Foreign currency experience
• Experience in designing and testing SOX controls
• Experience with Workiva, EquityEdge, LeaseQuery and JDEdwards, preferred
