    POSITION SUMMARY

     

    The Expert Compliance Data Analyst – Compliance Data Architect will support Reporting and Insights within the Electric Operations – Compliance and Governance group. The key functions of this role involve Data Visualization, Performance Measurements, and Trending Analysis of PG&E’s regulatory compliance activities and commitments in Electric Operations. The individual will lead efforts and become one of lead architects on extracting and presenting data for trending analysis, leadership support, and responds to ad hoc data requests using data analytics and business intelligence tools.     JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and maintain standard reporting and responds to data inquiries and ad hoc requests

    • Perform quality assurance checks on data outputs for data integrity.

    • Maintain and develops steady state extracts and update operational dashboards in data analytics and business intelligence tools.

    • Serve as one of main point of contact for EO Compliance Reporting and Insights.

    • Design data analysis to achieve business objectives, process data, analyze data, write clear and concise data findings and tailor communications to specific audiences.

    • Lead on special initiatives project teams including implementation of process improvements and efficiencies on mapping various sources and trackers.

    • Develop framework to perform analysis of historical performance, trending and benchmarking analysis.

    • May assist with IT related enhancement.

    • Collaborates with team members on most effective field rollout of process, tool and/or reporting changes.

    • Develop, implement, and maintain standards, procedures, and job aids to outline roles and responsibilities within the team and various supporting teams.

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum

     

    BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or other related field or equivalent work experience

    7 years of Job-related experience

     

    Desired

    Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills to various audience on complex data

    Demonstrated ability in building positive relationships with team members and work as part of crossfunctional teams.

    Demonstrated ability to manage and execute on goals in a fast-paced environment and modeling resilience and flexibility by adapting to new circumstances and adversity. Highly proficient in data analysis skills, knowledgeable in collecting data, organizing, synthesizing, reporting, recognizing trending and anomalies, drawing decisive conclusions from data.

    Proficient in the Enterprise Corrective Action Program (CAP) including Highly proficient in data analytics and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, SAP or related). Proficient with Microsoft Excel/Access/PowerPoint

    Experience in development of operational metrics and key performance indicators

    Experience in a regulated environment Familiarity with utility operations specifically regulatory compliance activities and commitments

    Familiarity with compliance framework best practices (FSG, COSO, NIST, HIPAA, SOX, FedRAMP, or related)

    Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulator compliance activities (FERC, WECC, CPUC, CAISO, CalFire)
