  • Responsibilities

    Our Indirect Lending department is looking to fill a full time Indirect Loan/Lease Clerk position, who will report to Indirect Loan/Lease Processing Supervisor.  This person will perform a variety of clerical tasks to support the Indirect Lending Department. They will communicates directly with dealers and members and prepares documents for processing, mailing and filing.

    1. Verifies, approves and notifies dealers regarding funding requests and prepares documents for processing.
    2. Matches and files incoming missing documents with pending loans.
    3. Creates and compiles the weekly indirect member confirmation letters for mailing.
    4. Creates and sends vehicle payoff statements.
    5. Sorts, determines appropriate action and disburses mail.
    6. Answers general telephone, email and mail inquiries.
    7. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    1. Must have graduated from high school or equivalent, or be presently enrolled in a high school program.
    2. Must have computer and word processing knowledge and the ability to learn multiple software programs.
    3. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.
    4. Must have a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must understand and comply with all job-related State and federal laws and regulations.

  • Qualifications
    1. Demonstrated success in performing day-to-day operations of a hospital based Medicaid eligibility department, or experience in HHSC qualifying children for Medicaid.
    2. Experience in performing at a level of superior customer service, in a hospital based Medicaid eligibility department.
    3. Ability to establish rapport and cooperation with patients and their families, as well as staff in Patient Financial and Patient Access Services, as well as other departments that impact patient financial and access functions.
    4. Demonstrated ability to perform with high quality customer service skills which includes children, parents, hospital staff, and physicians as customers.
