TPC Sugarloaf is a private golf course located within the gated community of Sugarloaf Country Club in Duluth, Georgia. TPC Sugarloaf features a total of 27 holes of golf along with a Sports Center. The seven-acre Sports Center encompasses a state-of-the-art fitness and workout facility, a nationally recognized Tennis Center featuring 8 Har-Tru all weather courts & 6 Hydro-Clay courts, a full-service tennis shop and a year-long schedule of competitive leagues, tournaments and instructional programs in addition to an Aquatic Center.

TPC Sugarloaf is currently seeking a HEAD TENNIS PROFESSIONAL to direct the daily activities of the adult programming tennis operation. 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Ensure that all preventative maintenance and tennis court repairs are completed on a timely basis
• Creating, organizing and conducting tennis programs including instruction, team competitions, league team coaching and special activities
• Plan and execute tennis outings and tournaments
• Supervision and daily management of Tennis Professionals and tennis staff including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance management
• Ordering, receiving, sales, inventory and costs of tennis merchandise and equipment
• Assist with developing capital and operational budgets with the Director of Tennis

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Thorough knowledge of tennis court protocol, rules and regulations
• Previous tennis teaching experience in a private club or similar setting, adult program experience preferred
• Proven track record of ability to train, mentor, develop and retain staff
• Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Must be a self-starter and have a positive attitude with a passion for service excellence and member satisfaction
• USPTA or USPTR certified
