We presently have an opportunity for a TICKETING CREDENTIALING COORDINATOR in our Championship Management department. This position is responsible for day to day ticket credentialing operations including the creation and distribution process for the PGA TOUR Championship Management (CM) Tournaments. The daily focus of this position is on ticket order processing and fulfillment. This position requires on site event credentialing handling and coordination, and closely collaborates with and supports ticketing operations.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Sports Administration, Business or a related field
- Two years’ experience with event management, customer service, supervisory duties in a retail or hospitality environment
- Prior knowledge of ticketing systems and ticketing inventory management, specifically with Archtics, Ticketmaster and/or Salesforce is preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure; and to meet established goals and deadlines
- Must be comfortable interacting with the general public and co-workers in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Knowledge of principles and practices of cashier and accounting procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Must be able to travel to various tournament sites
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages and fulfills tournament credentialing requests inclusive of timely printing and distribution of credentials, both pre-event and while on site
- Creates timelines for all printing and distribution of credentials in coordination with event timelines
- Coordinates with ticketing operations to ensure payment of packages and assets to align with fulfillment processes
- Create and manage credential template designs
- Maintain equipment and supplies needed for credential fulfillment and distribution
- Manage equipment and supply needs to meet onsite fulfillment needs
- Coordinate with PGA TOUR membership services team for Player on-site credential requests
- Assist Ticket Services Manager with ticket and parking fulfillment
- Work in tandem with the ticketing operations staff to support hospitality package fulfillment inclusive of internal buys, consignments, group purchases and complimentary ticket requests
- Leads and manages on-site credentialing inclusive of players
- Will be required to travel to tournaments across the U.S., approximately 7-8 weeks a year for approximately 10 days at a time (potentially more as needed) and work nonstandard hours as necessary
