We presently have an opportunity for a Cloud Architect within our Data Technology Solutions department. As a Cloud Architect, you will be a key member of a team responsible for architecting, deploying and supporting cloud-based solutions. will be your responsibility to help our team build scalable, highly available, reliable, secure deployments on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, and hybrid cloud systems.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• 3-5 years of experience in public cloud systems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field
• Experience with Cloud engineering platforms, including AWS and Azure
• Experience with leading the design, estimation, planning, and implementation of Cloud migrations and deployments
• Experience with documenting virtualized Cloud environments for client and operational teams
• Experience with resource planning and management and source control and configuration management
• Experience with disaster recovery best practices
• Experience with environmental monitoring best practices
• Experience with building high availability and high traffic infrastructure
• Expertise in evaluating and improving existing cloud deployments
• Experience estimating cloud usage costs and identifying operational cost control mechanisms
• Experience migrating existing on-premises applications to the cloud

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaption process
• Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software
• Develop and organize cloud systems
• Work closely with Cybersecurity to monitor the company's cloud privacy
•  Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner
• Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques and advise on best approach
• Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the project
• Maintain documents and architecture diagrams
