TPC River Highlands is currently seeking a FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER for our world class Food and Beverage operation. The successful candidate will play an integral role in assisting our food and beverage team through the execution of the opening of a brand-new state of the art 40,000 square foot clubhouse. The new clubhouse, scheduled to open in late Spring 2019, will feature two full kitchens, three event spaces, covered patios, and an outdoor event lawn, capable of hosting events from 12-person private dining to 500-person events.

TPC River Highlands is a private golf course located in Cromwell, Conn., just outside of Hartford. TPC River Highlands’ championship golf course hosts the PGA TOUR’s Travelers Championship, the largest professional sports event in Connecticut. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Assisting with managing and supervising staff including hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating employee performance
• Ensuring quality service standards
• Maintaining product inventories & cost controls
• Assisting members/guests with their dining needs
• Maintaining responsibility for payroll for the ala carte operations and monitor policies, procedures and controls

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• At least 3 years strong restaurant, a la carte, management experience
• Minimum of 3 years management/supervisory experience with a proven track record to train, mentor, develop and retain staff
• Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Must be a self-starter and have a positive attitude with a passion for service excellence and member satisfaction
• Must be a team player
• Ability to work days, evenings and/or weekends
