TPC River Highlands is a private golf course located in Cromwell, Conn., just outside of Hartford. TPC River Highlands’ championship golf course hosts the PGA TOUR’s Travelers Championship, the largest professional sports event in Connecticut. TPC River Highlands is currently seeking team players to join our Food & Beverage staff as PART-TIME BANQUET SET UP ATTENDANTS.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Ensure that all public event space is set-up, maintained, refreshed and properly cleared at the end of an event in accordance to Banquet Event Orders.  This includes but is not limited to set up of all event tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, silverware, props, utensils and audio visual equipment.
• Ensure back of house areas are always clean and organized , including; neatly stacked rows of tables and chairs, dance floors, props stored on shelves, glass racks and banquet equipment is stored and appropriate areas.
• Fulfill opening and ending shift checklist daily.
• Able to set-up, store, and inventory microphones, LCD projectors, flip charts, podiums, stages and other audio visual equipment.
• Able to adjust to change and last minute request with positive attitude to ensure guest and member satisfaction.
• Assist with meal service and breakdown as needed; transporting food from kitchen to event space, assist with plate-up, etc.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Prior experience in a food service capacity, preferably in a club or fast paced environment
• Ability to work daytime, evenings and/or weekends
• Must be detail oriented, organized, and be able to manage multiple priorities
• Great attitude
• Team player
• Very customer service oriented
• Dependability
