    TPC Summerlin is a private par-72, 7,243 yard golf course located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Carved from a magnificent swath of rugged desert terrain by renowned golf course architect Bobby Weed, TPC Summerlin creates one of the most visually stunning tests of golf in Nevada. TPC Summerlin proudly hosts the PGA TOUR’s Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, the second event of the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup season. The 36,000 square-foot clubhouse serves as a focal point for dining, hospitality, and relaxation. TPC Summerlin has a versatile and expansive banquet space as well as private meeting rooms and dining rooms to accommodate a variety of corporate and social events.

     

    TPC Summerlin is currently seeking a full-time SALES AND CATERING MANAGER.

     

     RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

     

    • Networks in the local community. Maintains appropriate client and member files and contacts, including BEO files.
    • Primarily networks offsite generating and meeting new leads for banquet events. 
    • Sells the club against the local competition. Conducts market surveys to ensure club position in the local market.
    • Develops and executes the strategic business plan for catering sales.
    • Prepares banquet contract, estimates and forecasts prices for the event.
    • Ensures timeliness and collections of all financial deposits and commitments.
    • Assumes responsibility as the manager/supervisor on the floor (front-of-house) as needed for banquets, ensuring food and service standards are maintained.
    • Assists Director of Food & Beverage in developing and executing marketing plan designed to grow our current banquet client base while maintaining our preferred clients.

     

     QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

     

    • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 1-2 years of similar Sales and Catering experience, preferably in hospitality
    • Experience at high end private clubs or luxury high-end hotels preferred
    • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office software and database programs
    • Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Strong verbal and written skills are a must
    • Excellent customer service skills with high level of professionalism
