The Family Medicine Residency of Western Montana (FMRWM) is seeking an ABFM or AOBFP certified family physician for our ACGME accredited (with Osteopathic Recognition), community-based program. This position is available in Missoula in 2020. Applicants must possess or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Montana. Applicants must demonstrate experience and competence in teaching and patient care. Primary needs are in the fields of musculoskeletal medicine or Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT). However, experience in obstetrics and inpatient medicine, while desirable is optional. This is a 1.0 FTE position. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Function as a member of the FMRWM core faculty, with responsibilities including:
Resident teaching in clinical and didactic settings
Clinical supervision of residents
Provision of direct patient care in outpatient settings
Participation in scholarly activity
Serving as an advisor and role model for residents
Participating with other core faculty in the ongoing development of FMRWM

The Family Medicine Residency of Western Montana (FMRWM) program is part of the University of Washington's Family Medicine Residency Network and exists to provide superior, comprehensive education in Family Medicine. We are committed to developing family physicians who are compassionate, clinically competent, and motivated to serve patients and communities in the rural and underserved areas of Montana.
