Phoenix Mechanical Services is a HVAC subcontractor looking to hire commercial HVAC installers for work in the greater Atlanta area and occasional regional work .

We are searching for mechanic or helper applicants that are honest and hardworking with a strong attention to detail. Our environment is fast-paced and we are looking for individuals who can work quickly and efficiently on commercial and industrial projects. We are seeking HVAC installers with experience or we are willing to train the right applicant. Any applicants must have reliable daily transportation to and from jobs in the greater Atlanta area and occasionally out of town. A fuel allowance is paid to mechanics and to helpers that have to drive occasionally. Otherwise you are paired up with a mechanic to ride with.

Experience for helper applicants is not required but beneficial. Experience for Mechanic applicants is a must, including experience running new commercial HVAC projects. Mechanics must also have their own hand tools and battery drill at a minimum. For helper applicants, specialty tools are not needed at time of hire, but you are expected to acquire them within 45 days

Job duties mostly include installing new HVAC equipment, duct installation and air distribution on commercial or industrial projects. No service work is done by us, therefore we are not looking for service techs.

Reliable transportation is a must. We try to pair helpers with mechanics to ride share so that helpers are not expected to always drive to job sites.

All employees at Phoenix Mechanical Services are on weekly payroll and are not 1099 subcontractors. Benefits include, gas and phone allowances for mechanics, gas allowance for helpers when they have to drive to job sites, paid holidays for both after a 90 day probationary period as well as paid vacation after 1 year of service.
