Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join a leading enterprise’s Digital Technology team. You will help design and develop web applications, ecommerce platforms, and internal tools used by millions globally. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact backend services and integrations within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable PHP-based web applications using frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Zend

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, DevOps)

• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into digital platforms

• Optimize web application performance and scalability

• Maintain high code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in production environments

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of PHP development experience

• Proficiency with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, Zend)

• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and Git version control

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)

• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus

• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills

• Experience in ecommerce, retail, or customer loyalty platforms

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Exposure to enterprise-level digital systems

• Passion for technology, innovation, and delivering meaningful customer experiences

Qualifications

These duties are too complex and specialized to be performable with a bachelor’s degree related to computer science or computer information systems or information technology.
