Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the physical therapist.
Educate patients and their families on exercises and treatment protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is clean and functional.
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering patient inquiries.
Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and progress.
Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all patients.
Requirements:
Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Hawaii.
Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
Compassionate demeanor with a passion for helping others.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling.
