    SUPERINTENDENTINDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    We are looking for an experienced Industrial Construction Superintendent for an Immediate assignment on-site in a Large Industrial Construction Project in Holland, MI

    · Responsible for 2nd Shift Equipment Installation Hourly Union Crews including Skilled Trades and General Labor

    · Coordinate, schedule, and manage the work of all construction trades including the work quality and attendance

    · Review equipment installation drawings including Architectural, civil, structural, and mechanical drawings and specifications

    · Worl closely and aid other Site Managers, corporate and field engineers, clients, subcontractors, and local officials

    · Evaluate, create, and monitor RFQs/RFI's when required

    · Develop, review, approve, and update daily work schedules

    · Prepare daily progress reports and submit to management

    · Ensure provide safe and clean construction environment and support safety meetings and daily safety checks

    · Use MS Office to develop reports and required site documentation

    · When required mitigate conflicts and resolve disputes

    · Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly job site; and enforce job site safety standards.

    · Arrange, monitor, and be present for agency inspections.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Min. 5 years of experience as an Industrial Construction Superintendent leading construction teams

    Min. 5 years of Managing Industrial Equipment Installations

    Min 5 years reviewing, evaluating, and developing technical documents such as RFQ’s, Work Orders, extras

    Min. 7 years of scheduling work and supervising Union Skilled Trades in Construction/Equipment Installations

    Must be able to work on Site @ Holland, MI

    Experience reading and interpreting architectural, civil, structural, and mechanical drawings, and specifications

    Excellent communication skills, and MS Office Skills Required for the job

    Must be able to work 2nd shift and work OT

    OSHA 30 certification is a must

    Bachelors degree in Technical Field is highly desired

    Must be able to commute daily to Holland, Michigan or relocate. Living assistance will be provided for qualified candidates who will be required to relocate
