Job Description

Picker & Associates, LLC seeks Auditor for Buffalo Grove, IL office. Duties include: Perform entire audit process from set up of the financial information in ProSystem to the preparation of the financial statements to be submitted for technical review. Work with clients to obtain financial package and specific documents for review. Conduct preliminary analytical review procedures; inquire of client about significant undetermined variances. Schedule field audits, perform substantive testing audit procedures at client sites in Cook county, and record results. Prepare draft financial statements and audit reports, perform final analytical review, submit audit for technical review process, and follow up with client as needed. Perform ballot tabulation procedures. About 10 days/year, travel to perform audits for part of the day at client locations in Chicago area (Cook county).

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Accountancy and 24 months of full-time experience as auditor or accountant preparing financial statements.
