Job Description

PIER 39 is now hiring Special Operations Unit to join the Security Team. The Special Operations Unit consists of off-duty sworn Law Enforcement Officers, Reserve Law Enforcement Officers, and Qualified Retired Law Enforcement Officers who make up an independent, specialized unit supervised by the Special Operations Commander. The off-duty officers work hand-in-hand with uniformed security personnel. They help supervise uniform security per this policy and conduct special operations investigations and details as dictated by the Special Operations Commander with the approval of the Chief of Security.

Qualifications

Note: Honorably Retired Law Enforcement Officers are eligible for employment for a period of up to three years after being retired from law enforcement, or for three years following separation from specialized law enforcement related services with a California Law Enforcement Agency.

Additional Information

Successful candidates will start at $39.02 per hour and be provided with employee parking in the PIER 39 garage. Applications are reviewed daily and eligible candidates are contacted promptly.
