    The IT Business Analyst role is responsible for leading a comprehensive assessment of our client’s vendor management process. This project focuses on updating vendor profiles and standardizing the scope of services documentation across all vendor contracts. You will collaborate closely with the project team to conduct a thorough assessment of the existing vendor documentation, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies in the documentation. Additionally, you will review the scope of service documents and provide recommendations to ensure consistency and accuracy across all vendors.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the review of existing vendor documentation, including contracts, agreements, and vendor profiles.

    • Identify inconsistencies, gaps, and discrepancies within vendor documentation.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop standardized vendor profiles.

    • Review the scope of service documents for all vendors and provide recommendations for consistency and accuracy.

    • Implement strategies to optimize vendor management processes and enhance efficiency.

    • Communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders through regular reports and presentations.

    • Ensure compliance with data governance frameworks, data privacy regulations, and industry standards in all vendor management activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. • Previous experience in an IT analyst role or similar capacity. • Familiarity with asset management principles and practices, including experience in assessing and documenting asset inventory. • Basic proficiency in SQL and experience with asset management systems is a plus. • Basic understanding of security concepts, including cyber, cloud, and IT security. • Experience in auditing or evidence review, demonstrating the ability to assess and review documentation for accuracy and compliance, is preferred. • Technical background or experience in IT operations is desirable. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies in asset documentation. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts. • Familiarity with Splunk or similar data analytics platforms is preferred. • Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data privacy regulations, and industry standards is beneficial. • Experience with MetricStream or similar governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms is advantageous.
