    VALLEN HAS MULTIPLE OPEN TEMPORARY TURNAROUND POSITION AT TWO DIFFERENT SITES.  THESE POSITIONS ARE FOR 40 OR 60 DAYS DEPENDING ON THE SITE YOU WILL BE ASSIGNED TO.

    TURNAROUND TECHNICIAN:

    • STOCK SHELVES WITH BOXES OF PRODUCT AND RENTAL EQUIPMENT UP TO 50 LBS.
    • INVENTORY ALL PRODUCT AND RENTAL EQUIPMENT, ON A DAILY BASIS, TO CONFIRM ALL ITEMS ARE ACCOUNTED FOR
    • ISSUE/RETURN PRODUCT AND RENTAL EQUIPMENT AS WELL AS GENERATE REPORTS FROM POS COMPUTER SYSTEM
    • MAINTAIN A SAFE AND CLEAN WORK ENVIRONMENT
    • CLEAN AND SANITIZE RESPIRATORS
    • CONDUCT FIELD-LEVEL INSPECTIONS ON BREATHING AIR EQUIPMENT, FALL PROTECTION, AND GAS DETECTION
    • COMPLETE INSPECTION REPORTS ON ALL EQUIPMENT

     

    REQUIREMENTS

    • WORK 84+ HOURS PER WEEK
    • TRAVEL WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES
    • WORK IN ALL WEATHER ENVIRONMENTS AND CONDITIONS
    • CURRENT TWIC
    • 2+ YEARS INDUSTRIAL WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Qualifications
    • Knowledge and experience in testing suppression systems and special extinguishing systems such as Halon and FM-200.
    • Strong communication skills; excellent telephone manner; strong English and grammar skills.
    • Strong organizational skills; detail oriented; accurate.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision, and under the pressure of deadlines.
    • Strong knowledge and experience with testing complex fire alarm system, smoke management system, emergency power system, and water delivery systems.
