  • Responsibilities

    From our extensive facilities in Whittier, California and Downey, California, PIH Health serves more than two million residents in Los Angeles and Orange Counties and throughout the San Gabriel Valley.

    Reports to and works under the directions of the Perioperative Services Supervisor. Provides support to the area Supervisor and staff, facilitating communications, scheduling add-on procedures, and entering charges.

     

     

    Required Skills

    • Demonstrate ability to organize and prioritize tasks and follow an organized work flow.
    • Demonstrate skill to respond quickly and efficiently in fast paced environment to the needs.
    • Proficient in English.
    • Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Computer skills.

    Required Experience

    • High School Diploma/GED.
    • Two years’ experience in healthcare environment
