    The Human Resources Operations Liaison is a critically important role, enabling the Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) to work most effectively with internal and external stakeholders across the system. Responsible for performing high-level efficient and effective support within the Human Resources Department while interacting in a professional, courteous manner with applicants, employees, and all members of the public. Performs general aspects of HR functions. Manages departmental operations, contracts, invoices, office management, executive calendar, system wide events, and projects. The role requires a highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and strong analytical skills. Duties will be broad in scope and require considerable judgement and initiative in resolving unique problems and making recommendations.

    Required Experience

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration (or equivalent) with an emphasis in Human Resources, Organization Development or other related field (i.e. English, Communications, or Instructional Design 2-5 years of experience in HR serving 500+ employees.
    • Knowledge of employee relations and project management in an HR environment, including considerable knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.
    • General knowledge of FLSA, DOL and other regulatory and compliance requirements related to employment law
    • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex HR projects, employment law, and HR principles to create clear communications for distribution and training (as needed.)
    • Strong computer skills including intermediate or above knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs

    Preferred:

    • PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP
    • Expertise in additional areas of HR, including performance management, new hire orientation/onboarding, prevention and safety, compensation, employment, recruitment, and benefits, or a similar combination of education and experience.
    • Organizational Development experience
    • Experience with HRIS/Payroll databases. Experience with Oracle preferred.
