Job Name: SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER

Job Location: RICHARDSON, TX.

Contract: 7 MONTHS

 JOB SUMMARY:

• We are seeking a Software Test Engineer with minimum 5 years of experience to join the Testing and Test Automation activities of Embedded Software Development organization in Richardson, Texas.
• Emphasis is on testing and it’s automation using Python
• Execute and automating test cases, must have

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute test cases to meet the product’s requirement
• Automate test cases by writing automation code in Python
• Integrate the automation in Jenkins pipelines to enable Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
• Able to work with Geo diverse teams

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor or above degrees in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Min 5 years’ experience in Software testing and test automation in embedded software development environment
• Experience in telecom industry (especially testing transport network elements supporting Ethernet, ROADM, OTN) is a plus
• Experience with Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence
• Excellent coding skills in Python to do the automation
• Experience with test automation using framework such as Selenium, Robot
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to influence thinking to the global software organizations
• Motivated, goal oriented, strong work ethic; Flexible, adaptable and open to change

Required Skills Required Experience

• Possess a proficient level of computer and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Able to effectively read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations accurately and independently.
• Possess knowledge or experience in IV preparation, aseptic technique, and data entry.
• Minimum typing skills of 40 words per minute (wpm).
• Able-bodied to transport medications throughout all patient care areas as deemed necessary.
