The Department of Transportation has an opening for a Documentation Specialist to perform Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) on scanned images and metadata for each image. The Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) will review work products resulting from the department’s scanning effort. These work products will include Accounting Related Files documents from various disciplines within GDOT.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
Ø Minimum five years’ experience in a document review / metadata review
Ø Strong proofreading and editing skills; quality of image to match actual document and accuracy of metadata
Ø Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Ø Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
Ø Ability to prioritize work to meet project deadlines
Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ø Working knowledge of SharePoint is a plus

Ø Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ø WILL NEED TO BE ABLE TO PICK UP AND LIFT BOXES WEIGHING 35 POUNDS.
