The position of Data Modeler consists of planning, initiating, and managing information technology. It also consists of leading and guiding the work, may allow for serving as liaison between business and technical aspects of
projects.
Guidance on emerging technologies and software development best practices, particularly related to Enterprise Data Development.
- Develop on with Oracle database technologies (E.g. Informatics
ETL), strong PL/ SQL skills.
- Provide guidance on service oriented architectures, application
frameworks, system integration methods, Enterprise Data Business
and Technical Metadata Management.
- Build Operational Data Stores (ODS), Data Marts,
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
- Develop and expansion of existing Data Architecture
- Data Analysis and Data Model Development (i.e. logical and physical
models)
- Develop procedures to enhance reporting and query capabilities to
improve efficiency and accuracy
- Strong Experience in producing various Technical Documentation
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent
- Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, and to
use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of
alternative solutions
- Ability to identify complex problems and reviewing related
information to develop and evaluate options and implement
solutions
