    We are currently recruiting for a Wire Cutter based out of our Brooklyn, NY Regional Distribution Center. 

     

    Job Responsibilities:

    Review customer ticket and accurately determine appropriate size reel and type, size and color of wire needed to complete order.

    Correctly measure and cut wire to customer specifications.

    Properly label all completed wire cuts with applicable information, including customer label.

    Unload empty reels and reload new reels onto wire machine

    Restock and replenish wire on wire cutting racks

    Maintain organization and housekeeping of wire room area

    Other duties as assigned

     

    Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

    Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs.)

    Warehouse environment, use of forklifts and comfortable working around machinery

    Monday through Friday, shift starts at 4:30pm.

    Individuals considered for this position will be highly productive, organized, detail oriented and capable of prioritizing in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will take pride in completing tasks timely and accurately.  Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery is required.
