JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Microwave Engineer III is responsible for performing highly complex MW engineering and MW backhaul engineering activities supporting the design, development and optimization of a wireless network; including microwave backhaul network design per specified design rules and topology guidelines.
- PathLoss 5 and Google Earth experience required.
- Planet design experience beneficial.
- Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) tools experience required.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum five (5) years RF engineering experience as a microwave engineer and MW backhaul engineer required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school.
- Three years RF engineering experience working with radio communications systems, including radio propagation modeling and prediction, microwave path analysis, interference analysis, frequency coordination, cell site equipment layout and parameter definition.
- Two years project management and project implementation experience.
