    Reporting to the Clinical Supervisor, the Psychologist will reduce the distress and improve the mental and behavioral health of patients presented with complex medical and psychosocial problems. Works alongside other professionals in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment to help manage patient problems and disorders.

    Required Skills

    • Demonstrate skill in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention.
    • Familiar and able to provide brief and long-term psychotherapy interventions.
    • Strong communication skills, including verbal, non-verbal, written, and oral.
    • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with medical providers, nurses, social workers, case managers, clinic managers, and front office staff.
    • Adaptable and flexible; embraces growth and change.
    • Bilingual skills in Spanish are preferred.

    Required Experience

    • PhD or PsyD in Psychology.
    • Current California license as a Clinical Psychologist.
    • Preferred 2 years’ experience.
    • Experience administering, scoring, and interpreting neuropsychological tests preferred.
    • Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
    • Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.
    • Knowledge and able to adhere to all applicable professional, legal, and ethical standards of behavioral health practice in the provision of services, including but not limited to the following: mandated reporting, patient confidentiality, ensuring patient safety, maintaining professional boundaries, and case documentation.
