THE OPPORTUNITY
Independent Electric (IE) is seeking an experienced and energetic finance professional with strong management skills to drive our organization’s financial operations. Ideal candidates possess excellent communication and presentation skills, effectively manage people, lead and execute process improvements, think strategically, maintain a strong controls environment, and have a proven history of delivering results. The position has dual reporting lines to the IE President and Sonepar VP of Finance for West Region.

QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of financial management, with experience in distribution industry preferred.
Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University in Accounting/Finance; With CPA is a plus.
Proven track record as a leader who can solve problems and resolve conflicts.
Supervisory experience as direct manager of a department with responsibility for hiring, accountability, performance reviews, team development, etc.
Self-motivated, curious, and a high sense of urgency.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and ERP systems. Experience with Eclipse ERP a plus.
