A PROJECT LIGHTING SPECIALIST with Capital Electric is responsible for maintaining customer and vendor relations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage all aspects of supplying lighting fixtures
• Identify projects early and work with vendors/salespeople on bid strategies
• Retain a professional/friendly business relationship and communicate effectively with customers, vendors, company sales team, estimators, and company management team
• Negotiate lighting projects of all sizes
• Value projects as required
• Thorough knowledge of current commercial products on the market and values
• Identify, analyze, and solve critical problems
• Advanced knowledge of lighting controls
• Courtesy and politeness toward customers
• Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
• Submittal preparation
• Other duties as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-4 years’ experience in the electrical/lighting industry preferred
• Product knowledge and expertise
• Ability to work in a challenging deadline-oriented atmosphere
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good and dependable mathematic skills
• Computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic
