    JOB TITLE:  CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK/MWR/FITNESS SPECIALIST

     

    SUMMARY:

    Customer Service Desk/MWR Specialist/Fitness Specialist are assigned to one of the following areas of support as needed and, can be reassigned to one of these areas of support as needed; Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR), and the Gym.  MWR Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to, executing activities and/or special events, potentially held twice on the same day to ensure all shifts can participate. Must be knowledgeable of rules of engagements regarding all events within facilities. This includes organizing, marketing, set-up/tear down, audiovisual support, transportation, and oversight of an event. The MWR Specialist will use government systems to provide support services such as inventory and administrative functions. Facilities are operational up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

     

    RMS WILL BE INSTALLATION SUPPORT SERVICES TO THE UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES IN QATAR AS PART OF THE AFCAP V CONTRACT.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Will maintain all MWR facilities in a clean, sanitary, healthy, and professional manner free of dust, dirt, debris, clutter, and trash.
    • Must ensure fitness equipment not in use is returned to its proper storage location at least once every two (2) hours.
    • Must monitor guests and equipment as needed but no less than hourly to ensure proper operation, safety and security in all MWR areas.
    • Shall ensure equipment and floors in all fitness areas are cleaned, swept, and mopped as needed and at a minimum of at least once every 24 hours in order to present a clean, sanitary, and safe environment at all times.
    • Will conduct weekly events including bingo, Texas Hold’em, foosball, dominoes, spades, karaoke, pizza night, pool, ping-pong, video game tournaments, etc.
    • Conduct inventories, register transactions, and provide proper resource protection measures.
    • Perform administrative duties such as customer service, inventory, headcounts, and SITREP.

     

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • One (1) year of related experience.

      

    MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be flexible to work in one of the assigned areas of support as needed.
    • Must have and maintain an Active Secret Clearance.
    • Valid Driver’s License and be able to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission.
    • Must have a Valid US Passport
    • Excellent Customer Service Skills needed.

     

    TRAVEL:   100%, in deployed location.

    • High School diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree in related discipline preferred.
    • One to three years of previous related experience required.
    • Must possess valid State Driver’s License, and acceptable driving record.

    • Knowledge of basic computer related skills such as using the internet, and e-mail software.
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

    • Able to think quickly, assess a situation and make a sound decision.
    • Listens well and retains instructions; accepts constructive feedback from supervisor.

    • Ability to prepare and follow a delivery schedule.
    • Ability to follow standard safety procedures and regulations.
