    Patient Care Associates at Rogers Behavioral Health are professionals who play a critical role in providing high quality care to our patients. You are the eyes and ears of the Registered Nurses and provide them with timely updates on patient status. You are one of the key individuals working day-to-day, in collaboration with the treatment team, to support achievement of patients’ treatment goals.

     

    In this role you will get to:

    • Ensure patient environment is safe and orderly
    • Collect and record critical data such as vital signs, weight and height
    • Accompany patients to various activities such meals, outings and group sessions
    • Collaborate with and learn from national leaders in behavioral health
    • Grow and develop professionally

    Required Skills

    EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

    • High school graduate, or equivalent, is required
    • Certified Nursing Assistant certification is preferred, but not required. If certified by the state at the time of hire, CNA must be in ‘good standing’ with the State Board of Certified Nursing Assistant Registry
    • Two (2) or more years of college in human services-related field is preferred
    • One (1) year patient care experience preferred, ideally in a psychiatric setting
    • A valid driver’s license is preferred, as the ability to work in multiple locations is required. Driving record may need approval by Rogers Behavioral Health insurance carrier
    • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification is required within thirty (30) days of date of hire. Rogers will train and get you certified if you don’t have this yet. Annual re-certification is required
    • Formal training in crisis prevention and intervention is required within sixty (60) days of date of hire. Rogers will provide this training and certification. Annual re-certification is required
