THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a Lead Service Technician to lead in the area of inspecting, testing, maintenance and repair of Life Safety Equipment to include but not limited to fire extinguishers, fire hose, Gas Detection Monitors, SCBA etc. You will need to have a basic knowledge of regulatory standards pertaining to assigned duties; i.e., State, OSHA, NFPA regulations and guidelines. Responsibilities include the follow:

• Leads small technician groups within fire extinguishers, fire hose, gas detection monitors, SCBA area of expertise
• May also have scheduling responsibilities and interaction with the customers to coordinate job activities
• Responsible for ensuring all documentation associated with assigned tasks is filled out accurately, completely and turned in for proper invoicing
• In depth knowledge of all regulatory standards i.e. State, OSHA, and NFPA regulations, manufacturer guidelines and VALLEN SOP’s
• Responsible for parts and equipment requests
• Maintaining accurate inventories related to job and maintenance orders

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience inspecting, testing and maintenance of fire extinguishers, respiratory equipment, gas detection monitors, SCBA’s, etc is required.
• Experience 2-5 years (industry related)
• Certified in 3M (Scott Safety) - SCBA Functional Testing and Repair Experience OR MSA - SCBA Functional Testing and Repair Experience strongly preferred
• Must have valid Driver’s License
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage a Customer Account or Project
• Advanced Communication, Initiative and demonstrated Problem Solving ability
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to lift 55 lbs.

Required Skills Required Experience

Skill

7+ years of experience developing applications in .NET environment of which at least 2 years in Angular

Technical skills must include C#, ASP .NET, .Net core, MVC, Angular 2/4/5, jQuery/JQueryUI, Web API, Web services, LINQ and Entity Framework,

Technical Skills must include HTML5/CS OOD & Design Patterns, Unit Testing Frameworks, SQL Server

Working experience with Source Control Management tools such as; Team Foundation Server (TFS)

Experience with Agile development practices and Scrum methodology

Knowledge of database modeling and data structure principles, techniques and best practices

Candidates should have good oral and written communication skills

Able to work independently with minimal consultation from Architect/Lead.

Strong experience in Sql Server Data Structure Design and Modeling.

Experience w/ Partitioned tables, Indexing and Filegroups.

Able to Monitor the application health/performance and rectify issues on a day-to-day basis.
