NORTH COAST ELECTRIC, A SONEPAR COMPANY – POWERED BY DIFFERENCE

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrate and sell tools at customer locations and Service Centers
• Operate and maintain Tool Pick Up Truck Demonstration vehicle
• Work with all Service Centers to generate sale of tool products by making joint calls, or attending open house events, and Tool Sales Days
• Merchandise counter areas and maintain tool displays when not demonstrating tools
• Support Tool Division marketing campaigns and directives and bring these efforts to the Service Centers
• Maintain and grow Tool Business in the “Top Tool” accounts in each Service Center location

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS:

• Demonstrate a personal and professional commitment to quality
• Previous sales experience in the electrical or tool sales field
• Excellent written and presentation skills. (Must be able to demonstrate tool products)
• Comfortable speaking to large groups
• Excellent record keeping and time management skills
• Self-motivated problem solver in a team environment
• EPEC (graduate, currently enrolled or willing to enroll)
• PC (Microsoft Office) knowledge, and Excel Spread Sheet a plus
• Excellent driving record and knowledge of time and territory management
• Willing to travel and work the necessary hours to accomplish business plan goals

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Overnight travel and safe operation of Pickup Truck
• Some office, warehouse, and counter environment; mainly display work, and cleaning
• Standing and lifting (Up to 50lbs) demonstration of heavy power tools and equipment
