Accounting Manager - direct hire, full-time employee

Seattle or Tacoma - hybrid schedule in office 3 days per week, remote 2 days per week

Well-established, privately held, international organization seeks an Accounting Manager (Divisional Controller) to be an individual contributor, who will be responsible for the financial management of vessel support facility operations and will provide strong partnership with company’s Manufacturing Controllers.

This position can be based in Seattle or Tacoma WA. with travel to remote AK locations will be required.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data. The candidate will also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day company accounts

Assist with financial planning

Oversee Budget forecasting and cash flow management

Ensure government compliance in all tasks

Qualifications

5 years’ experience in accounting/financial roles supporting manufacturing, logistics, shipyards, and/or supply chain functions.

Manufacturing, Logistics or Operations finance/accounting experience required.

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance from an accredited four-year college or university; or the equivalent combination of education and years of experience.

Strong Financial Analysis skills and knowledge of Cost Accounting principles

Experience with an integrated ERP system

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred education and experience

A masters in Accounting or Business Administration

CPA, or CMA

Food and/or Seaborn Transportation industry experience

Experience with SAP Controlling (CO), MM, PM, and SCM functionality

SAP H/4 HANA experience
