    Pikemann is looking for a Director of E-Commerce for our client in Bellevue WA. This is a permanent / Full-Time position and will be working 100% onsite.

    Our client is a growing omnichannel sales company with operations across three continents. Leveraging emerging technologies, they help billion-dollar companies in industrial solvents, chemical products, and food ingredient industries achieve a more streamlined business model.

    The Director of ecommerce is responsible for defining and implementing ecommerce platform strategy to meet customer needs. Our customers are mostly B2B in the industrial and food ingredients markets globally. You will be responsible for implementing capabilities needed on the Adobe commerce platform to drive customer engagement, growth, and insights. Experience managing development and product management resources and collaborating with the digital marketing team in a fast-paced environment is preferred. Responsibilities:

    Manage a team (internal and partner staff) of product managers, designers, and full-stack developers.

    Contribute to developing our ecommerce strategy for the B2B space, identify new opportunities, and create a shared vision throughout the organization to foster agreement on the importance and sequencing of product features.

    Own the B2B's overall ecommerce roadmap and provide stakeholders with visibility.

    Collaborate with client-facing sales teams and digital marketers to drive high levels of customer engagement and capture customer interactions on the platform.

    Integrate commerce orders across storefronts with backend ERP and CRM applications.

    Maintain the integrity of product data, content, and digital assets on the platform.

    Manage platform enhancements and user security in line with corporate policies and best practices.

    Monitor the site for superior customer experiences and respond quickly to any issues that may arise on the site.

    Drive user adoption on the ecommerce platform by working with stakeholders across the organization.

    Perform demos on core capabilities of the platform with clients and prospective clients.

    Listen to client feedback on the ecommerce platform and work to improve the site to meet expectations.

    Encourage a design culture in which customer feedback and user research are included throughout the course of product development.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field

    5+ years of experience in ecommerce platform operations

    B2B marketing experience and e-commerce architecture background (backend)

    Experience implementing at least one full lifecycle Adobe commerce project.

    Good understanding of shopping cart development with shipping, and Payment Gateway Integration for E-commerce websites.

    Have experience scaling and optimizing web applications.

    Good understanding of front-end development technologies such as MERN.

    Strong sense of ownership and the capacity to act quickly when faced with pertinent information.

    You have experience leading cross-functional Agile Scrum teams.
