Pikemann is seeking a Senior / Lead / Principle Network Engineer who will be part of our client’s global Network service team, to design, deploy, and own a robust and scalable network infrastructure service. Our client has been in business for over 40 years and is one of the leading freight forwarding companies providing import and export services, as well as, door-to-door services for both international and domestic needs. They offer a wide range of logistics including ocean and air freight, rail, trucking, warehousing and distribution, customs brokerage, cargo insurance and more.
Design, evolve, and maintain network infrastructure from on-premises / fragmented legacy solutions into a standard ubiquitous global hybrid/cloud network service.
Input on global network architecture, capacity, and security performance evolution as a global network team.
Assess and apply next gen network security principles and solutions (Cloud firewall, ZTNA).
Structure network solution in a scalable service, delegate transactional / operational into automation and/or external augmentation services (e.g., NOC), to intensify pace of Group network solution evolution and optimization.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Bachelors in computer science, IT or related field
CCNP certification is a must.
7 years + of experience working as a Senior / Lead / Senior / Lead / Principal Network Engineer Multinational / culture working environment.
Cloud Network certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialist, Azure Networking Associate, or Google Cloud Professional Network Engineer are highly desirable but not required.
Networking solutions: SD-WAN, on-premises LAN switch (Cisco, Fortinet), firewall/Palo Alto, VPNs, Wi-Fi, WAN (BGP, OSPF), VLAN, global IP address management/planning, DNS/DHCP management, VPC, CDN
Network Voice/Telephony solutions: Microsoft Teams integration/direct routing project leading experiences will be a plus.
Structure cabling know-how and coordination experiences
Network monitoring, log aggregation/analysis solutions
IT Service Management: ITILv4 foundation is a plus.
Network security solutions: cloud-based firewall, ZTNA deployment experiences will be a plus
