Pikemann is searching for a Mechanical Assembler/Technician to join our Team in Beaverton, OR.

The Mechanical Assembler/Technician is responsible for assembly procedures related to manufacturing specialized capital equipment. An excellent mechanical aptitude is required for the development of specialized items. All forms of hand tools must be utilized efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Interpret work instructions and drawings for precision instrument assembly and setup.

Determine technical issues with assemblies, subassemblies, and custom-fabricated parts.

Soldering skills.

To make precise adjustments, use metrology hand tools.

Work instructions should be written and modified as needed.

Effectively communicate with Technicians, Engineers, Quality specialists, other Assemblers, and different support group workers.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in some technical trade or hands-on assembly work in a high-technology company is required.

Ability to work with minimal direction on sophisticated instruments. Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic.
