Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer with hands-on design experience to join our team! The Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer, acts as the subject matter expert for detailed engineering in the development of the product line, focusing on reciprocating and rotational machine design & detailed engineering.

Responsibilities

Understanding applicable standards and procedures of compressor components including API 618.

Develop QA/QC standards for rotating equipment manufacturing and repair.

Executes mechanical design for rotating equipment and drive assemblies for both diaphragm and reciprocating compressors including hand calculations, CAD, and FEA.

Knowledge of reciprocating compressor components such as valves, packing, piston & rod assemblies, cylinders, liners, crossheads, cylinder heads, crankshafts, and auxiliary systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required. Master of Engineering or Professional Engineering preferred.

12+ years energy engineering work experience specifically in rotating equipment design and manufacturing required.

Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software.

Knowledge of design standards for rotating and reciprocating compressors including API 618.
