Pillow Assembly Line Worker
Job Summary
The Pillow Assembly Line Worker is responsible for efficiently assembling, stuffing, labeling, and
packaging pillows in a production environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to
meet daily production goals, and maintaining quality standards throughout the assembly process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble pillows by stuffing, shaping, and closing pillow covers
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality and defects
- Label pillows accurately according to production requirements
- Package finished pillows for shipment or storage
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets
- Operate basic machinery or tools as needed (training provided)
- Follow all workplace safety guidelines and procedures
- Report any equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous manufacturing or assembly line experience is a plus (not required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math and counting skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds
- Repetitive hand and arm movements
- Ability to bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift
Work Environment
- Manufacturing or warehouse setting
- May involve exposure to fabric materials and stuffing fibers
- Moderate noise levels from equipment
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Compensation
- Production-based pay (based on output)
