Project Management and Building Information Modeling (BIM) Support Specialist (PWS Section 1.5.2 – Facility Planning, Project Management, and BIM Support)
The Project Management and BIM Support Specialist will provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to support facility planning, project management, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tasks for USSTRATCOM/J43. The role involves assisting with project requirements, monitoring facility projects, coordinating actions, and ensuring compliance with DoD, USAF, and USSTRATCOM security requirements. Key Responsibilities:
· Project Requirements and Documentation:
· Gather and refine project requirements to assist the Government in creating drawings, statements of work, and market research.
· Support the development of Independent Government Cost Estimates for Government review and approval.
Project Monitoring and Coordination:
· Monitor existing facility projects and present information/data to the Government for decision-making.
· Coordinate required actions to support the development and execution of projects during planning and implementation phases.
· Provide project schedules with identifiable milestones and regular updates as required.
Technical Expertise in BIM:
· Provide expertise in Autodesk AEC Suite, including Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Navisworks to assist with Building Information Model (BIM) updates.
· Utilize MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for documentation and reporting.
Compliance and Security:
· Ensure adherence to all DoD, USAF, and USSTRATCOM security requirements.
· Maintain compliance with classified program security protocols and ensure proper handling of sensitive information.
Reporting and Deliverables:
· Prepare and submit Service Engineering Reports/Technical Reports (CDRL A003), including test reports, discrepancy/anomaly reports, training plans, and implementation plans.
· Provide presentation materials (CDRL A005) for Government approval at least five working days before distribution or presentation.
Qualifications:
Experience:
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
· Knowledge of principles, policies, and practices in civil engineering, architectural engineering, construction, and facility planning activities.
· Experience interacting with multiple agencies, including vendors, contractors, tenants, support organizations, managers, and supervisors.
· Ability to conduct research, analyze results, make recommendations, and execute courses of action.
· Skill in maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders.
Technical Expertise:
· Proficiency in Autodesk AEC Suite (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) and Bluebeam.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Security Clearance: Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
Other Requirements: Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
