    Job Description:

    PIRTEK, the nation’s leading provider for on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement is hiring for the position of Office Manager / Bookkeeper to oversee the company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. Perform daily accounting tasks such as data entry of account payables, account receivables and adjustments, monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, prepare P/L report and fulfill all tax filing requirements in alignment with CPA.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Tracks Accounts Receivables and secures on time payments, tracking, reporting and works with customers to obtain overdue payments.

    Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.

    Maintains franchise accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.

    Balances franchise accounts by reconciling entries.

    Maintains general ledger by transferring franchise account summaries.

    Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.

    Reconciles the Bank accounts with the P&L and balance sheet.

    Tracks Accounts Payables and prepares payments on time.

    Maintains historical records by filing documents.

    Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

    Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.

    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing ad hoc tasks as needed.

    Qualifications / Skills:

    AR collection experience, gentle and effective, is a MUST

    High School Diploma or GED, Accounting experience mandatory

    Working Hours Arrangements & Benefits:

    Full time, but can accommodate part time if need be, for a period of time.

    Competitive compensation: $40-50k per year, depending on experience.

    Health care benefits when work hours grow to full time (40 hours/week).
